Percula 120 bow front

Well it's taken months of planning since we bought a new house but my tank is now in the house, got to get the lights fitted tomorrow, test fill, then I should be up and running with the RO unit aiming for salt by next weekend

This is the room when we moved in, plan is to get the tank in the right hand corner

First job is to knock that fireplace down, fill in the window and fit 2 new rings to the fusebox for 6 double sockets

The simply get the wall skimmed, install new fireplace and decorate!

stand was built on saturday

and the tank went in today

cheers,

Greg

right, the lights are on, and the RO is working, BLIMEY, it's slow, it's going to take weeks to fill at this rate!!

Light test and first water line from 3rd November

Egg crate cut and ready

Water filling as of tonight, not the fastest fill in the world!!

cheers,

greg

Thanks for the kind words.

I think RRP is around £1700, I got a nice discount and some free LR from my LFS.

Cheers,

greg

I really hope you did get a lot of live rock with it for the price you paid for it.
If i am right , it looks like the new Juwel bow fronted Vision 480, i think.
My local fs is selling the tank complete with filters, lights etc for £695 special offer.
Was thinking of getting it myself, but opted for the rena calvados in the end.

Anyway its a great looking tank, all the best
